How to Gift Games to Friends

NOTE: Games that can be gifted are only those in inventory or purchased new, games in the library cannot be gifted.

Open Steam Inventory

Select Game in Inventory

Send Gift

Select the send gift menu, at the bottom right

Choose Friends

Since this is sending to a Steam friend, choose option number two: Send my gift directly through Steam. If you are not friends yet, select the Email my Gift option.

Name and Message

Send Gift

Finished
