Asphalt 9 Legends (and the whole Asphalt series) is totally free, being supported by in-app purchases. Although the gameplay can be enjoyed fully without making any purchase, the game makes it a bit hard to fulfill seasoned goals and challenges without further paid widgets.

If you are not familiar with the Asphalt system, there are two currencies in the app. The main one is called credit and it can be obtained by completing races and progressing in the career mode. The higher you rank, the more currency you receive. You can also increase your credit by watching ads.

Credits are used to enhance your vehicles, improving their attributes such as Nitro, Top Speed, Handling, and Acceleration. To unlock a vehicle in particular, you must get their blueprints by finishing specific races (and upgrading your garage level).

The other currency is called token, it is represented by a blue pentagon labeled with the letter A. This one is a paid currency you can buy in-app. For instance, a hundred US dollars will worth you 3,000 tokens.

These tokens can be used to purchase advanced items, and also can be converted to credits. The hundred dollars you paid for those tokens will worth you almost a million credits.

Asphalt 9 Legends: the Major Features

Asphalt 9 Legends is not the game for gamers seeking realistic experiences. A lot of its features are based on real-world cars and race tracks, but that ends there.

One of the most merchandisable actions you can do in the game is the ramp jump: go high speed in a ramp, make some acrobatics in the air, and land perfectly on your wheels, without completely obliterating the car suspensions and breaking it apart into several pieces. Custom and Intuitive Controls

• Tilt to Steer: using a feature only available so far on mobile smart devices, this mode gives you more dynamic gameplay since you gave to actually move the device. This makes you feel real like steering a wheel. It is worth trying, but hardly you will get used to it. The other modes are way more enjoyable and simpler to play. The Drift and the Nitro buttons are in the same place they were on the TouchDrive mode. The double tapping will also give you the same outcomes.

Leveling Up and Upgrading your user Account

In Asphalt 9, you have a Garage Level that you can upgrade by finishing races. The purpose of upgrading your level is to unlock more Cars in Packs.
