Torque Pro APK is an app made to give you a deep understanding and full control of your vehicle in real-time. Not only it can give you information about your car's performance, but it also delivers everything in a fully customizable user interface.

You get access to your car performance in real-time using a special Bluetooth connection, which we will explain later in this post. The app also lets you choose among several themes and even share your screen on social media, like Facebook and Twitter. That said, you can choose the way you monitor your vehicle, based on your objectives, your preferences, or even your curiosity. Torque Pro is a very flexible and intuitive app. It is perfect for car aficionados and professional drivers. To use it, your car only needs to support an OBD connection (we will talk about this later in this post). One of the most popular and useful resources is the fault code, which can be used as a scan tool to verify issues with your car, thus reducing the cost of your repairs.

In this post, we will tell you how to download the Torque Pro APK version on your mobile device. Then, we will review the entire app and talk about all the Torque app features, all the parameters it can scan on your car, and all the performance analysis available. Keep scrolling!
How to Download Torque Pro Apk Mod
The Torque Pro app is available on the Google Play Store. For iOS users, there are some alternatives made for Apple devices, like the Torque app Car Checker. It works in the same way, using an OBD special Bluetooth connection.

Torque Pro costs almost $5 in the Play Store. There is a Torque Pro Lite version available, which can be downloaded for free. The free versions are less powerful than the full one. The third and final option is to download the Apk Mod, a modified and free version of the app. You must find a third-party source online to acquire the Apk file. Make sure you trust this source. Before installing the app, since it is not from the standard stores, your system will require you to grant permission to the other part to go through the installation process. If you want to be ahead, on Android devices, go to Settings, Biometrics and safety, and, finally, Install unknown apps. There, look for your favorite browser and switch the permission on. Afterward, you are all set to install the Torque Pro Apk on your mobile device!
Downloading Torque Pro Apk from Aptoide
Installing applications from third-parties can be a little confusing with it is the first time you are doing that. You might not know exactly whether the source is trustworthy or not. For this reason, we suggest you use Aptoide, an open and free Apk store.

Aptoide’s main advantage is the other user input and comments on each Apk. Note that good Apk Mods receive a green seal labeled with Trusted if they work and do not contain malicious software. Pay attention to it. You can download the Torque Pro Apk in Aptoide.
Torque Pro and the On-Board Diagnostics connection
What is OBD?
OBD stands for On-Boarding Diagnosis. This is a standard code system, used by many manufactures, that categorizes issues on a vehicle. Each vehicle has self-diagnostic and reporting capability, displayed in the OBD system. The goal is to give the owner or repair technician knowledge on the status of the various vehicle subsystems. OBD codes, thus, help us understand a vehicle’s performance and repair its issues.
What is an OBD Connection? And where is the OBD connector in a car?
OBD Bluetooth is the special connection used by applications like the Torque Pro. OBD2 (as OBD1 and OBD1.5) was supposed to be a wired connection. Nowadays, with tech advances, there is already the possibility to adapt Bluetooth wireless connection to the OBD2 system. In 2012, On-Boarding Diagnosis 3 (OBD3) started to be used on cars, but the most widely supported system is still the OBD2. Most cars are equipped with an OBD2 connector. The exact spot where it sits, however, varies between car models and manufacturers. The Honda Civic, just to give an example, has its OBD2 port below the wheel dashboard (you have to squat or maybe even kneel to reach it) by the right. The OBD2 port looks like these images below in every vehicle.

To localize the OBD2 port in your vehicle, you may just try Google or even YouTube. There are several tutorials on how to find this connector for each vehicle. If you are up to it, you try to find OBD2 in your car’s manual. The OBD2 connection is available in most cars manufactured after the year 2000. It became mandatory for cars to be compliant with OBD2 in the year 1996 in the United States. The odds of your vehicle not being compliant with OBD2 are very small.
How to Pair your car with Torque Pro
The OBD2 port was made to receive the wired connection of an on-board diagnosis device, such as the one depicted below.

As technology advanced, mobile phones became able to run those diagnoses themselves in mobile apps like the Torque Pro app. So, to connect your smartphone to your car’s OBD system, you need an OBD Bluetooth adapter, purchasable in every online store. Try Amazon, eBay, or any other you might like and trust. The quality of those Bluetooth connectors varies a lot, so be mindful of the seller and try to get as much information as possible before hitting “Confirm payment”. The OBD2 Bluetooth connectors look like these:

These images are not supposed to make any recommendations. We do not suggest you acquire OBD2 Bluetooth similar to those above. Make your own research before finding a good model for yourself. With the Bluetooth OBD2 adapter in hand, connect it to the port and switch it on. If everything is working properly, the device will appear in the available Bluetooth connections on your mobile device. Connect it and open the Torque Pro app.

In the Settings menu, the first two options will be Connection Type and Choose Bluetooth Device. In the first one, make sure Bluetooth is selected. Note that some OBD2 port adapters may offer a wifi connection to pair with your device, in a very similar way than printers do. The disadvantage of this option is that you will not be able to use your mobile internet.

To pay with the adapter, you must first pair your phone normally, as you would do with any Bluetooth device, such as earphones or smartwatches. Just afterward, you click on Choose Bluetooth Device and select the OBD2 adapter in the list of already paired devices. Wait a few seconds and the Torque Pro app is ready to run the diagnosis on your car!
Torque Pro On-Board Diagnosis Features and Realtime Information
The real-time information dashboard is your main interface on Torque Pro. It can display everything you might want to know about your car’s performance while you are actually driving the car. The dashboard is fully customizable, serving you while you drive or while you are repairing a vehicle. See below how to edit and customize a dashboard on the Torque Pro app.
Changing the display on the Torque Pro app Real-time Information Dashboard
If you click on the little cog below and to the left of the Realtime dashboard, you open the editing menu. Click on Add display to choose a new parameter to appear for you while you drive. Click on one of the options and place it wherever you want it to be.

To delete, open the Item options by pressing your finger on one of the displays. Click in the last option, Delete display, and it will disappear.
